7-Eleven, a trusted kapitbahay in the Philippines, is set to join millions of individuals and companies for Earth Hour 2025. On March 22, 2025, over 4000 stores will turn off lights from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM while remaining fully operational. This decision aligns with the brand’s commitment to eco-conscious practices and encourages every kapitbahay to make Earth Hour every hour, promoting a better, greener future for everyone.

This year, 7-Eleven launched the Good Coffee, Good Habits campaign, which motivates customers to bring their reusable cups or tumblers on their daily coffee run. By doing so, they’re able to save P5 on their coffee while playing their role in saving the planet as well. In line with this effort to reduce waste, the store has also been implementing a Bring Your Own Bag policy for the past few years. Every Wednesday, customers are asked to tote eco bags when shopping at a 7-Eleven store to lessen paper use.

These eco-friendly initiatives extend beyond in-store policies, with the brand integrating sustainable practices in its overall operations, too. By collaborating with stakeholders and supplier-partners, 7-Eleven is constantly developing programs to cut down on food waste and plastic usage. Additionally, in 2024, a new store was erected in Friendship Highway, Angeles, Pampanga, housing major favorites like 21TOGO chicken, along with drinks and pastries from !+? Cafe Reserve. But more than its offerings, the branch stands out as it was built to harness renewable energy through solar panels.

As it continues to pursue environmentally sound routes to help secure a greener tomorrow, 7-Eleven joins hands with every Filipino in taking small but important steps to secure a greener tomorrow together.
