Darren Cashwell, a rising artist from the Darren Michael and Cashwell Macanaya siblings, has released their first single, “NUMBER ONE.” The indie-pop track, written, mixed, and produced by the dynamic duo, explored the desire to be the only person for their loved one and was mastered by Grammy nominee collective The Bakery.
“NUMBER ONE” is the first single of Darren Cashwell’s upcoming debut EP “kinda not so in love” set to be released this year under Star Music.
The duo previously released the songs “Friday,” “sour patch,” and “quiet like u,” which have collectively garnered more than half a million streams on Spotify. They also collaborated with Jed Madela and DJ M.O.D. for the single “Just For You” and got featured on various Spotify editorial playlists, including .ORG, tapioca, and Best of. ORG 2023.
