Aleph Group, a global leader in connecting digital media platforms with advertisers and consumers in emerging markets, has completed the acquisition of Entravision Communications Corporation’s digital commercial partnership business unit. The acquisition includes MediaDonuts, an Asia-Pacific digital marketing agency, which will be rebranded as MediaDonuts by Aleph. This strategic move expands Aleph’s global footprint, solidifying its position as the primary provider of global digital media platforms, seeking to reach audiences across the Asia-Pacific region and the world.
Aleph has strengthened its presence in 11 key APAC markets by integrating MediaDonuts, enhancing its digital and local expertise. MediaDonuts’ deep understanding of the APAC digital landscape, local teams, strong publisher relationships, and data-driven technology platform will enhance Aleph’s ability to serve clients in the region. The acquisition also adds new strategic partnerships and strengthens existing relationships with platforms like TikTok, X, Spotify, Pinterest, Criteo, and Snapchat.
Pieter-Jan de Kroon, Managing Director of MediaDonuts by Aleph, stated: “We are thrilled to join the Aleph family. This partnership allows us to leverage Aleph’s global expertise and resources to accelerate our growth and deliver even greater value to our clients. We are confident that this is a win-win for everyone involved.”
“The acquisition of EGP, including the exceptional MediaDonuts team, is a transformative moment for Aleph. We have great respect for what they built as a worthy competitor. With MediaDonuts’ deep roots in key APAC markets, this acquisition perfectly complements our global network. Aleph is now the undisputed global leader in enabling digital marketing in emerging economies,” Gaston Taratuta, CEO and Founder of Aleph Group, shared.
He added, “As Aleph approaches its 20th anniversary in 2025, we are building a generational business, and we look forward to continued growth and success. The shift from offline to online GDP is accelerating, and we are committed to driving digital communication, payments, and education in these markets. Aleph’s unique business model empowers partners to monetize their digital advertising inventory exclusively in emerging markets. Local and global advertisers benefit from a single point of access, where Aleph provides education, generates revenue, and handles all cross-border payment activities, simplifying the process of advertising on global platforms.”
Aleph Group’s core mission is to make the world of digital more accessible, fostering economic growth and empowering communities through digital transformation. “We believe access changes the world,” states the company’s manifesto. This acquisition further reinforces Aleph’s commitment to providing a digital media education platform to equip professionals with essential skills and fostering borderless collaboration through a global team of experts speaking over 60 languages.
