Bryan Chong, a former contestant on “Idol Philippines,” reimagines Himig 11th Edition’s Best Song, “Marupok,” to share a relatable story of falling for someone with mixed signals, capturing the popular Gen Z term for vulnerability despite confusing actions.

It was composed by Danielle Balagtas for Himig Handog,. At the same time, the reimagined version was produced by StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos, highlighting the energetic beats that elevate Bryan’s powerful vocals, making it a danceable anthem of love.

In 2017, Bryan auditioned for the first season of “The Voice Teens Philippines,” where he captivated the judges with his performance of “Kahit Kailan.” He became one of the artists under Sarah Geronimo’s team. He then joined “Idol PH” and placed as the fourth runner in the singing competition in 2022.

As a recording artist, he has released several singles such as “Mag-iisa,” “Di Pa Ba Sapat,” and “Cut Into Pieces.” He was nominated for Male Acoustic and New Male Recording Artist of the Year at the 12th PMPC Star Awards for Music.
