AirAsia Philippines, Asia’s leading low-cost airline, has welcomed over 6.6 million passengers in 2024, surpassing its 2023 total. The surge in holiday travel began in November and is expected to peak in December. As of mid-November, AirAsia Philippines has booked 89% of its total seat sales for 2023, up by 6% compared to the same period last year. Additionally, 79% of the eight-million target for 2024 has been achieved. The Piso sale in November sold 165,000 seats, with Cebu being the most booked domestic destination and Taipei leading international bookings.
AirAsia Philippines Head of Communications and Public Affairs & First Officer Steve Dailisan said “With the busiest holiday season just around the corner, we are optimistic in reaching our passenger goal for 2024.
