The J. Amado Araneta Foundation (JAAF) and PPI Holdings, Inc. were honored for their significant contributions to youth empowerment during the Novotel Manila Araneta City handover ceremonies. The USAID Opportunities 2.0 Program and the Education Development Center presented the awards, highlighting their innovative programs supporting out-of-school youth. JAAF and PPI Holdings were instrumental in the success of the Immersion Link for Enablers and Adapters Program (iLEAP) in Quezon City, which provides essential skills training and employment opportunities. The collaboration aims to provide second chances for young Filipinos.

“Receiving this recognition is both an honor and a responsibility,” said Diane Romero, Executive Director of JAAF. “At JAAF, we believe in the potential of every young Filipino. Through programs like iLEAP, we are helping to build a future where no one is left behind. This award inspires us to continue our work with even greater passion.”

Romero also emphasized the transformative impact of collective action: “This wouldn’t have been possible without our partners and the dedicated individuals who worked tirelessly on the ground. Together, we are making a real difference in the lives of our youth.”
