The fandom-inspired mobile hits the Philippine market today!

Popular smartphone brand OPPO is known for its regular smartphones as well as limited-edition mobiles. Almost two years after the release of the F11 Avengers limited-edition phone, there’s a new reason for every Marvel fan to cop a new mobile—the Reno5 Marvel Edition Smartphone.
The Reno5 Marvel Edition is impressively packed with the stunning design and sleekness you expect from anything that is OPPO and Marvel. The Avengers-themed design of the smartphone draws inspiration from the Quantum Suits worn by The Avengers in Avengers: Endgame, featuring a color scheme that consists of black, gray, silver, and red. The back of the phone is subtly-designed with the letter X, taking its inspiration from the logo of Black Widow, while the letter A at the center combines the Avengers logo and Captain America’s shield. The textured finish is reminiscent of the high-tech suits worn by The Avengers. The silverplated sides of the phone have been created through an electroplating process, with a black stripe in the middle revealed through laser-etching. A red embellishment around the button adds a further touch of Marvel inspiration.
Unlike the OPPO F11, this time around everything has the Marvel logo. The smartphone comes in a neat box bundled with the Avengers-themed headset, fast charger, cable, SIM ejector, and protective case with the 3D Marvel logo emblazoned at the back.
On the software side, you will be transported into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the Avengers logo greets you during the start-up animation. And while charging the phone, charging status is shown using an animation of the light rings on Iron Man’s Head-Up Display (HUD). Installed with the latest version of ColorOS 11.1, the device also boasts exclusive design details such as the background of the home screen which features a similar design based on the Avengers Quantum Suits while the icons of the original OPPO apps on the home screen have been replaced with icons depicting various heroes or items in the Marvel Universe. There are also six different exclusive lock screen wallpapers to create a fully-immersive Marvel experience. What’s more, a flip book-style animation inspired by the opening scenes of the Marvel movies is shown while choosing a wallpaper for your phone. In terms of specs, it is similar to the Reno5 4G—6.5-inch AMOLED 90Hz FHD+ punch-hole display with an In-Display fingerprint scanner, 2.3GHz Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and 4,310mAh battery with USB-C 50W fast charging. There’s also a 64MP quad-camera setup and a 44MP selfie camera. How’s that for Marvel and OPPO in every detail?
