One feature sets brands apart when you are interacting with their products physically, and that is their logo. For luxury brands, this is usually in the form of a monogram that is almost always an abbreviation of its name. This may be why Italian luxury brand, Salvatore Ferragamo, has announced a new monogram logo.

In harmony with the latest creations of the season, Salvatore Ferragamo presents its new SF logo in honor of its founder, in an artistic, modern, innovative conjunction, and a youthful and dynamic spirit. The SF logo makes its debut as part of the Pre-Fall 2021 collection for men where it appears on several product categories including ready-to-wear and key accessories.

The new SF logo is present on all of the brand’s top classic models, where the traditional moccasins, the driver, and the sneaker are updated with a breath of modernity. The logo is presented in a variety of ways such as a small side buckle logo on the band of the shoe upper, or a central decorative logo set within a metal frame and with the two initials either varnished to match the color of the leather or decorated with elegant rhinestones. The sneaker has a side buckle logo in light metal-effect resin or a printed, maxi, color-contrast logo. It is also featured on a selection of large and small leather goods and belts.

The large leather goods feature ECONYL nylon (a fiber that has been entirely regenerated from fishing nets and other nylon waste), sewn with thread that is made from 100% post-consumer certified recycled PET and finished with a zip tape made with regenerated polyester yarn made from recycled plastic bottles.

The SF Logo line is part of a digital campaign shot in the Galleria Memphis Post Design of Milan. Further highlighting the brand’s connection to the art world, with its support the gallery provides an outstanding space for Ferragamo accessories to stand side-by-side unexpectedly with furniture and objects from the movement led by Ettore Sottsass.

The SF logo celebrates the trailblazing vision of the founder of Ferragamo and teaming this with a contemporary edge that takes us into the future.
