In color and construction, Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) reinvents work-inspired garments for Spring/Summer 2022. The collection turns to a muted palette: a pigment dye treatment creates a strong, sun-faded effect on the label’s renowned staples. Earth shades of Stormcloud, Citron, Natural, and Hamilton Brown cut across graphic printed tees and a checkerboard pattern in knit polos.

The season features a mix of fabrics—cotton, canvas, and corduroy—spliced together for a new approach, yet rendered as archetypal Carhartt WIP apparel. The Carhartt logo is then explored in embroidery, and utilitarian detailing rounds out their classic workwear branding.

Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) develops its collections based on original Carhartt workwear. The brand combines authentic adaptations of these robust American archetypes while engaging with the subcultures that have embraced them. Carhartt WIP opened its first store in London in 1997 and today operates over 80 brick and mortar locations worldwide.

It also has its skate team and music department, while supporting an array of artists and releasing various publications. Since 2010, Carhartt WIP has worked with many like-minded collaborators, including A.P.C., Converse, Fragment Design, Junya Watanabe, Nike, Underground Resistance, and Motown

Along with the latest Carhartt WIP, Commonwealth has its in-line roster of apparel, footwear, and lifestyle labels both in-store and online: Stone Island, Stüssy, Nike, Adidas, and more.

Carhartt WIP S/S22 is now available in-store at Greenbelt 5 and Rockwell.
