Japanese global apparel retailer Uniqlo launches its newest lineup of high-quality, innovative, and sustainable jeans. Designed with individuality in mind, the diverse collection features different silhouettes, colors, and cuts to cater to any style.
“As Filipinos return to the office, spend more time with friends, and go out more, they are looking to expand their wardrobe with pieces that are comfortable, stylish, and fit their style. Our new line of jeans is the perfect pair for this new lifestyle since it’s timeless, comfortable, innovative, and can transition from work to play,” says Masato Kusumoto, Uniqlo Philippine’s COO.
As a testament to LifeWear‘s philosophy of making lives better, Uniqlo’s Jeans are made following the BlueCycle process and cutting-edge technology developed in the Jeans Innovation Center in Los Angeles, California. BlueCycle eliminates the need for large amounts of water and manual labor used to get that faded, worn-in look in jeans. It significantly reduces water usage in the finishing process by up to 99% and it also follows Laser Distressing which replaces Sandpapering, reducing the burden of work done by human hands and generally improving the work environment.
• Women’s Ultra Stretch Skinny High Rise Jeans (P1990). These jeans are Uniqlo’s stretchiest yet, made with proprietary stretch thread. The fabric is specially dyed to resist color fading. In terms of design, the updated high-rise tapered cut and the back pocket’s size and placement flatter the figure especially when paired with the Square Neck Cropped Shirt. The garment is manufactured using Uniqlo’s environmentally-friendly washing method, which reduces water use during processing by 90 ％ or more.
• Women’s Slim Flared Jeans (P1990). The high-rise design and slim silhouette bloom into a subtly flared hem, creating a leg-flattering effect. It is made with a comfortable stretch fabric with an authentic denim look. The jeans can easily be dressed up or down together with the Cable V Neck Vest.
• Women’s Baggy Jeans (P1990). These jeans are made with 100% cotton denim in a pleasing baggy cut. The full-length inseam and double-needle stitching also accentuate the legs. Its versatile design goes well with the Linen Blend Open Collar Short Sleeve Shirt.
• Men’s EZY Ultra Stretch Jeans (P1990). These Ultra Stretch jeans combine a classic denim look and the soft feel and ease of sweatpants. The slim and tapered cut emphasizes relaxation, whether lounging at home to be paired with the Oversized Crew Neck Half Sleeve Shirt or heading out with the Dry Pique Short Sleeve Polo. Sustainability is at the core of these jeans since its washing process during production uses 90% less water.
• Men’s Ultra Stretch Skinny Fit Color Jeans (P1490). The Ultra Stretch satin fabric creates a comfortable skinny fit and is best worn with the Uniqlo U Crew Neck Short Sleeve Shirt. Select colors are finely-brushed for an added elegant and glossy finish. The jeans are manufactured using Uniqlo’s environmentally friendly washing method, developed at the Jeans Innovation Center.
• Kids’ Ultra Stretch Soft Jeans (P1290). The Ultra Stretch fabric, with an authentic denim look and feel, has been updated for a softer touch. These jeans come in a pull-on and zip-fly zipper design for easy-wearing way of children. When paired with the AIRism Cotton Graphic Short Sleeve Shirt, it is perfect for those heading back to school.
Uniqlo will hold its next Live Station entitled “Uniqlo Jeans for Everyone” where viewers can shop their favorite Uniqlo Jeans in real-time on www.uniqlo.com or the Uniqlo App in July. Viewers would be able to engage with guest personalities, and the Uniqlo team, as the session shows various ways to style the jeans lineup.
