Bangkok-based True Digital Group (TDG) together with the Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines (CICP) shared their latest insights and business opportunities for industry professionals and content creators in light of the growing consumption of digital media in Filipino’s daily lives.

TDG’s Chief Business Officer and International Officer, Marco Guida explains how they began to expand to the Philippines and said, “We understand how to manage digital platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and YouTube, as well as how to connect brands with content creators. We are able to communicate with both the business world and the world of creators. We concluded that since we were successful at it, why not apply this across Southeast Asia? “, thus introducing True Digital to the country.

“Digital consumption in this country is through the roof. All of you play a huge role in shaping people’s lives. So I think our role as True Digital for True Creators is to help you do this in the most effective way.” Guida added.

Evolution of creator ecosystem

In a recent discussion, Jako De Leon, a member of the CICP board, hosted a live fireside chat with a variety of content creators and business leaders. Panelists included Bogart the Explorer, influencer and CEO of 28 Squared Studios, Richard Juan; Unilab Digital Director Jim Guzman; and True Digital Philippines President and CEO Dindo Marzan.

The panelists discussed the creator ecosystem in the Philippines, emphasizing how content has evolved. “It’s all about curating something nice these days,” said Richard Juan. “As creators, we must constantly adapt to the way that technology has changed,” he added.

Additionally, Jim Guzman also said that the ecosystem, which should value having a mutual understanding, considers both the agency and the client as being equally important. He noted that one of the most essential qualities brands seek in a content creator is authenticity.

Bringing the power of influence back on the ground with BaiCon InFest 2022

The creators were also invited by Guzman to the BaiCon InFest 2022: Digital Empowerment!, which will take place in Cebu from November 4–6. According to him, this is the largest gathering of creators and influencers in the country.

“Consider it a retreat for creators and influencers and an opportunity to spot talent for brands and agencies. Most importantly, think of it as a way to interact with the VisMin audience”, he added.

Connecting brands and creators through ‘True Creators Studio’

The launch of the website www.truecreators.studio, where both brands and creators can easily book services, was the night’s high point. True Creators Studio aims to be the perfect playground for content creators to produce high-quality and engaging content. Through the True Creators Studio, brands may develop and produce unique videos for their marketing campaigns, website or social media content, internal communications, virtual events, and more.

The True Digital Group’s newly signed talents, which include a variety of influencers, content producers, and YouTubers who have yet to collaborate with different brands, were also introduced during the event. Marzan addressed the audience of creators in the room and said, “If you collaborate with True Digital’s creators, who are present in Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Vietnam, right away you have already captured the Southeast Asian market and that’s what we want to provide to you.”

The locally created TrueID Originals were also on display. The future projects included some of the signed creators and were scheduled to stream for free on True Digital’s very own platform, TrueID (www.trueid.ph), in early 2023. True Digital Philippines’ footprint in the nation is strengthened by the introduction of True Creators Studio, which complements the company’s current enterprise clientele-focused Digital Solutions division.

With the successful gathering of creators, influencers, brands, and agencies at Truechella, the Creator and Influencer Council of the Philippines (CICP) and True Digital Group (TDG) have magnified the flourishing creator ecosystem in the Philippines and marked yet another achievement for the country’s content and influencer marketing industry.
