Creativity alone never worked without even a little bit of playfulness – all geniuses of history have done it, and the rewards have been enormous! Playfulness is the side that allows us to experiment. It requires being brave and bold – being unafraid of uncertainties and seeing the possible rewards your efforts can bring – and Bratpack has always been on the forefront of creation, encouraging youthful playfulness – ever present in the changing seasons of fashion, music, arts and gaming. The brand began as a Concept Store for brand incubation, and is now a platform for the youth and by the youth – now, in 2022, The Bratpack Play Fest Event is its timely and deserved culmination, and they’re celebrating it with all of us!
The pandemic made no exceptions – it has caused all of us to change, one way or another. Whether it be music, fashion, arts or gaming – the atmosphere has definitely changed. Brands have taken on different forms along with the changes we experienced, with wider offerings for all of us, yet these brands are undoubtedly recognizable as we re-emerge from our homes.
As a vital part of their current “Press Play” Campaign, the Bratpack Play Fest Event feels exactly like it sounds – festivities with live performances, content creators sharing their passion at the Creators’ Play Talk segment, Live Art featuring local artists, reels contests and most of all, its overall playfulness aligned with the spirit of people coming out and enjoying once again how it is to live and reclaim ownership of what’s ours. Bratpack is the embodiment of how we truly want to live: playful, brave, free and able to press play any time in any aspect of our lives! 25 years of strengthening, encouraging and making life fun for all of us – this is Bratpack’s ongoing legacy, and they never forget to tag us along with each milestone!
Gracing the stage on this event are up-and-coming artists such as Amiel Aban and DENŸ, with their performances proving to be as unique as the era we are now in, never before offered Live Art by Tita Keks for Hydro Flask and Bryan Yabut for Birkenstock, an array of rare toys on display with Toy Art Philippines, and the Mitchell and Ness Tournament open to participants who are out to compete and win.
Coming together for both international and local brands such as Hydro flask, Herschel and Birkenstock customization, and local brands featuring: DBTK (Don’t Blame The Kids), SNK ATK, Coziest, Secret Fresh, Skoop and 0917 with their own special capsule display in store for everyone to browse through.
We were disconnected and shut in, in so many ways for the past few years. There is no better time to connect, collaborate and emphasize the importance of community. The youth has always, and will always be the ones to lead us in as we adapt with the seasons – and Bratpack will always be there as they Press Play in life.
