AirAsia has been named the World’s Leading Low-Cost Airline and the World’s Leading Low-Cost Airline Cabin Crew for the 12th consecutive year at the World Travel Awards Grand Final 2024. The airline has previously been Asia’s leading low-cost airline and Asia’s leading low-cost airline cabin crew at the World Travel Awards in Asia and Oceania. It has also secured the highest votes from industry players, consumers, and travel experts. The airline’s expansion plans are fueled by solid travel demand across key markets, with the airline strategically expanding its network and connecting more secondary airports to prepare for broader growth in the Asia-Pacific region by 2027.
