AirAsia Philippines and Duty-Free Philippines have partnered to offer guests the opportunity to win free round-trip tickets and explore Japan and South Korea during the “Travel, Spend, Save, and Win” promotion. Starting September 2023, AirAsia passengers can receive up to 5% off on purchases across three Duty-Free stores, Fiestamall, Luxe, and NAIA T3. Additionally, AirAsia and other airlines will provide a “Free Flights Fiesta” raffle entry for every $200 spent on duty-free items. The partnership was finalized during the MOA signing on September 1, 2023. The collaboration aims to add excitement to reunions, as the Ber months are the onset of reunions, and to provide more room for spending on pasalubong for loved ones. This is particularly timely as most local and international destinations are picking up for the final quarter of 2023.
“This collaboration between Duty Free Philippines and AirAsia stands as a remarkable milestone. As we pursue the endeavor of enhancing the travel and duty free shopping experience of international travelers, we continue to contribute to the flourishing landscape of Philippine tourism. Our goal is clear, to offer a seamless and exclusive duty free shopping privilege that enhances the overall travel experience of AirAsia’s guests”, Duty Free Chief Operating Officer Vico Angala added.
Free Flight Fiesta will be raffled four times from October 5th to January 5th, 2023, with each lucky guest winning a roundtrip ticket to Tokyo and Seoul for one year. The World’s Best Low-Cost Airline is expected to see a strong rebound during the upcoming Ber months due to overwhelming bookings from guests at the Philippine Travel Mart. Top domestic destinations booked for immediate travel within 90 days include Caticlan, Tagbilaran, and Cebu, while the top three international destinations are Bangkok, Osaka, and Narita. This positive reception will help the airline grow its market share next year through new flights to East Asia and the reactivation of its Kalibo and Clark hubs.
AirAsia Philippines continues to entice guests to plan their travel ahead with the publication of its operating flights to 27 domestic and international destinations out of Manila, five out of Cebu, and one out of Clark which totals 400 weekly flights.
