IWG, the world’s largest provider of hybrid working solutions with brands including Spaces and Regus, is opening its first-ever state-of-the-art flexible workspace in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, as well as another in Quezon City. These openings are being delivered in partnership with Pacific Ace Subic Bay Corporation for the Subic site, under the Regus brand, and Triumph Spaces, Inc. for the Quezon City location, under the HQ brand.
Unprecedented demand from companies of all sizes and workers looking for hybrid working solutions means IWG will add 1,000 new locations over the next year. Hybrid working offers companies a significantly lower cost base with an average savings of $11,000 per employee[i].
With the Subic Bay Freeport being one of Central Luzon’s fastest growing regional locations, and Quezon City being the most populous city in the Philippines, demand for workspaces in both areas is performing strongly. The two sites are part of IWG’s drive to meet the rising demand for top-class flexible working space.
Both sites will include facilities such as private offices, meeting rooms, co-working and creative spaces for established firms and start-ups across a range of industries. Meanwhile, IWG’s Design Your Own Office service allows companies to tailor their space entirely to their requirements. In addition, IWG’s technology platform provides partners with access to all of its expertise, design support, and sales and marketing capabilities.
Lars Wittig, IWG Country Manager, commented: “As important business hubs, the Subic Bay Freeport and Quezon City are fantastic places for us to boost our expansion plans. The need for high-quality flexible workspaces continues to soar as hybrid working becomes the new normal. We are very pleased to work in partnership with Pacific Ace Subic Bay and Triumph Spaces, Inc. under their respective management agreements that will add a cutting-edge workspace to their buildings.”
“Subic is one of Central Luzon region’s fastest growing locations with a 60.8 percent increase in foreign investments in the area from 2021 to 2022. These figures are impressive considering the pandemic-related restrictions during that time so we expect even more growth and more workspace demand this year,” explained Pacific Ace Subic Bay Corporation president Virginia S. Dio.
For her part, Rowena Bravo-Natividad, IWG Head of Partnership Growth also welcomed the partnerships, saying “We are confident that Pacific Ace Subic Bay’s huge network in Subic and Triumph Spaces’ strong commitment and drive to provide work-life ecosystems, along with their considerate local market knowledge, will complement IWG’s business expertise and global network. With shared values and drive, these partnerships leverage the respective strengths of the brands and enable us to continue expanding our presence across central Luzon and Metro Manila.”
