Marc Nelson and Christi McGarry embark on a thrilling adventure on Bali, Indonesia, in the two-part “Beached” special airing on Metro Channel on July 27 and August 3. Following their recent trip to Mexico, they explore Canna Beach Club in Nusa Dua, offering activities like paragliding and beach volleyball. The show is set to air on Metro Channel.
“Blessed with astounding natural wonders and equally awe-inspiring people, this place is known as the Island of the Gods,” described Marc in the show’s latest teaser.
Christi is thrilled to explore Bali which she considers an exceptional stop. She said, “This place has a special place in my heart too. There’s a lot to take in: thrilling activities, breathtaking views, and hot dining spots. Truly a spellbinding destination!”
The two also visit the Path Bali yoga center in the resort village Canggu, the iconic Uluwatu Temple, various dining spots that are must-try in the area, and many more. They likewise discover Sungai Watch, an organization that ensures that the Indonesian rivers are kept clean.
In the second episode of the “Beached Bali” special, Marc and Christi get to surf along Berawa Beach, known for black sand, big waves, and the beautiful view of the Indian Ocean.
They also travel around Bali’s cultural capital, Ubud, and try the adrenaline-pumping white water rafting adventure across 28 rapids. The Tegallalang Rice Terraces is also part of the itinerary, a UNESCO World Heritage site that offers a panoramic view of Bali’s lush and scenic landscape.
The two also delve into the sustainability practice of Green School Bali, explore the Finns Beach Club, and dine at the hottest dining spots on the island.
