ASICS has unveiled the first-ever women’s model of its GEL-QUANTUM 360™ VIII sandal-style sneaker, featuring Cecilie Bahnsen’s feminine vision of everyday couture. The shoe features a reworked GEL-QUANTUM 360™ VIII tooling, enhanced comfort with DIVISION SPACE™ technology, and a floral appliquéed upper. The campaign features Danish gymnast, Frida Lund, showcasing the power and delicacy of the design.
The Archisite ORU™ sneaker, designed by architect Kengo Kuma, embodies Kuma’s philosophy of harmonizing nature, technology, and humanity. The shoe’s unique folding upper, reminiscent of origami, reflects the concept of “ORU,” meaning “fold” in Japanese. The doublet x ASICS collaboration took inspiration from Lewis Carroll’s word puzzles, reimagining everyday items with new ideas and techniques. The GEL-KAYANO™ 20 sneaker and customized GEL-NIMBUS™ 10.1 models showcase a unique blend of materials and textures.
