UNIQLO is set to launch its 2024 Spring/Summer collection with JW ANDERSON, inspired by mid-century British craftsmanship. The collection, 24SS, combines UNIQLO LifeWear’s thoughtfulness with JW ANDERSON’s playful spirit. Designer Jonathan Anderson cited the 1940s through 1960s Britain as inspiration for the collection, showcasing garment craftsmanship and durability. The collection will be available from April 19.
A homage to mid-century artistry
Women’s knit polo shirts, crew-neck sweaters, and seersucker dresses in simple, bold primary colors recall the work of traditional British furniture designs. The stylishly rough, washed-out men’s Dry Pique T-Shirt offers a stunning graphic texture inspired by textile craftsmen.
Featuring fabrics that enhance comfort
The women’s linen-blend shirts feel smooth and feature crafted stitching and embroidery accents. The Cotton Sheer Voluminous Blouse is crafted from a moderately sheer cotton and features a silhouette with a bow and cuffs. The men’s cotton jacket is crafted for a relaxed fit. This item together with unisex baker pants exhibit natural textures, allowing for stylish coordination as a complementary ensemble.
