McDonald’s has donated one million toys to children from partner communities as part of the McDonald’s Happy Meal Toy Donation Drive, which has spread more Happy Meal smiles.
During the official handover ceremony, Dr. George T. Yang, chairman and founder of McDonald’s Philippines, led the distribution of one million Happy Meal toys to children served by Ronald McDonald House Charities Philippines. Senator Robin Padilla and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) representative Haron S. Meling accepted the Happy Meal toys on their behalf.
With the leadership of Dr. George T. Yang, McDonald’s was able to share the gift of Happy Meal smiles to various LGUs such as Pasig, Mandaluyong, Antipolo, Marikina, Floridablanca, Presidential Security Group (PSG), Philippine Navy, Philippine Air Force, and the MMDA. In addition to this, other organizations and different LGUs also received Happy Meal toys from McDonald’s to share more smiles within their local communities.
