Zino Lilies won the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational (MWI) Mekong Qualifier title, defeating teams from Laos and Thailand in a best-of-five grand finals match against Team PG. The Vietnamese squad secured their spot in the upcoming MWI 2024, featuring in the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event at Vientiane Center Lao attracted over 500 spectators. Lilies will represent the Mekong Region in the upcoming MWI 2024, which features 16 international teams and a prize pool of USD 500,000.

MWI Mekong Qualifier was co-organized with Laos Telcom Group and endorsed by the Lao Esports Federation. Earlier today, the members of the Laos Olympic Committee were present for the opening ceremony.
Jonathan Sirisackda, President of the Lao Esports Federation, said: “This event marks good milestones for Lao Esports as a whole, and we do believe there is more to come. In the near future, we hope to host our own national league.”
This is the first-ever MLBB tournament hosted in Laos.
