Mark Oblea’s latest release “Tahan”, is like a melodious love letter to the most special and precious person in your heart.
According to the singer-songwriter, “Tahan” is his song about assurance. It encapsulates one’s earnest attempt to comfort the love of his life, remind her that she’s not forsaken and that he’s prepared to love her through ups and downs.
Moreover, Mark shares how he began working on its melody. “Gusto ko gumawa ng slow dance kind of song. Doon nag-umpisa ‘yung idea ng paggawa ng song na ‘to,” he recalls.
The singer serenades the listeners with such sweetly sung chorus, “Tahan ka na sinta / handa kong ibigin ka / Wala ng ibang hahanapin / Ikaw ang aking panalangin.”
