Speciality Food & Drinks Asia (SFDA) is Southeast Asia’s leading trade show for artisan, gourmet, and fine food and drink products and solutions. Located at Singapore’s Sands Expo & Convention Centre, it will host up to 8,000 trade visitors and over 200 exhibitors. The event aims to explore new products, create business opportunities, and share solutions for industry challenges. Big Idea Ventures (BIV) – the most active FoodTech investor in the world – will be hosting the international finals of the first-ever Big Idea Food Competition to identify the best innovations in alternative protein. BIFC builds new entrepreneurial ecosystems, identifies world-class talent and invests in the future of food entrepreneurs across Asia. The grand prize of BIFC is a US$200,000 investment package and automatic inclusion into Big Idea Venture’s Cohort #8 accelerator program.
The first-ever ASEAN Butchery Competition, hosted by Montgomery Asia and the Meat Traders Association Singapore (MTA), will bring together meat professionals from the region to showcase their workmanship skills in meat carving and presentation, for the title of ASEAN’s best butcher and a grand prize of S$5,000.
Making a highly anticipated return is the Singapore National Coffee Championship, organised by the Singapore Coffee Association in partnership with Speciality Coffee & Tea Asia (SCTA). Singapore’s top baristas will compete in the Singapore National Latte Art Championship, Singapore Cup Tasters Championship, Singapore National Barista Championship and the Singapore National Brewers Cup, with the winners representing Singapore in the World Coffee Championships 2024.

To foster knowledge transfer within the industry, engaging panel discussions will provide insights crucial to innovation, business growth and sustainability.
