Manila’s bar scene gets a welcome lift with the arrival of Hoegaarden Rosée, an exquisite rose-tinged, raspberry flavored beer with an intriguing character and a surprisingly refreshing taste.
Naturally different, this extremely light beer is envisioned to be a surefire hit among the sophisticated set, especially women, who would be captivated by its pink hue and would love its innate freshness. It is similar in body to the original Hoegaarden wheat beer, but is infused with the sweet taste of raspberry, creating a rich, fruity aroma with subtle hints of spice and coriander. Just like the original wheat version that Filipinos have come to love, the Rosée is fermented twice but is unfiltered, creating a cloudy appearance and smooth texture. The Rosée leaves no bitter aftertaste, making it the perfect choice for those ladies who want a quiet nightcap, something to pair with a meal, or simply want a drink that would help them to relax. With a low alcohol content of just 3%, the Rosée may even be enjoyed during lunch breaks or during those lazy afternoons spent lounging around the beach.
“Filipinos love variety, and the Hoegardeen Rosée is an exciting addition that Filipino beer lovers, especially women, would definitely enjoy. We have always felt that the female market needed more drink options, so we are delighted to bring the Rosée to the Philippines. Its sweet taste and lightness is perfect for the tropical climate of the Philippines,” said Chester Cabrera, Marketing Manager of Booze Online, Hoegaarden’s exclusive distributor in the Philippines.
Especially formulated by the Hoegaarden Brewery in Belgium, the Rosée is a concoction of barley malt, wheat, hops, coriander, Curaçao orange peel, Hoegaarden yeast, sugar, sweeteners, raspberry, strawberry, apple, and elderberry.
Hoegaarden Rosée is available in draught, 330mL can, 250mL bottle and a very classy 750mL bottle.
