Home Credit Philippines (HCPH), the country’s leading consumer finance company, has celebrated its ten-millionth customer, France Janina “Ica” Abion, at a grand event in SM Novaliches.

Ica, a 27-year-old mom and bank teller, started her Home Credit journey in August this year. She and her partner were looking for a smartphone at Riverbanks Mall in Marikina City. However, their available cash fell short of the overall price of PHP 14,000. Fortunately, a Home Credit sales associate introduced a convenient and affordable payment option. The sales associate was friendly and informative, explaining the terms and conditions of Home Credit, including minimal requirements, one-minute approval process, installment options, and payment procedures. Ica paid a down payment of PhP4,000 and chose an 18-month installment plan, allowing her to secure the smartphone she needed while managing her monthly expenses.

Unexpected Blessing

Ica, a satisfied customer of Home Credit, was surprised to receive an unexpected blessing just weeks after purchasing her new phone. Home Credit reached out to Ica, who was the ten millionth customer, and they confirmed the information. Ica was awarded a total of PHP100,000 and a waived payment for her smartphone at a grand event held on September 24. The company formally honored Ica, who expressed gratitude for the assistance and the support she received. With a one-year-old baby boy and another child on the way, Ica and her partner are deeply thankful to Home Credit for their support.

A decade-worth of innovative financial services
