Kim Ji Soo, an award-winning actor, also performed at the Musika Para sa Bikol: Himig ng Bayanihan benefit concert in Legazpi City on December 6. He wore high-cut leather boots from Palladium and designer Iñigo Villegas and sang popular songs like Coldplay’s “Yellow” and The Calling’s “Wherever You Will Go.” He also performed a duet with model and recording artist Bey, singing the popular hit song “APT” with choreography to the crowd’s delight.
The benefit concert featured Gene Loves Jezebel and Per Sorensen of Fra Lippo Lippi as a fundraiser. Proceeds are going directly to typhoon relief and rehabilitation efforts in Albay. But even before the event, Ji Soo was already showcasing his commitment to helping others by personally distributing relief packs to residents together with Ako Bicol Cong. Jil Bongalon.
Cong. Zaldy Co of Ako Bicol Party List expressed gratitude for the support from artists like Ji Soo. “On behalf of Ako Bicol Party List, we deeply thank Mr. Kim Ji Soo for his support and kindness. Napakalaking bagay po na may mga taong tulad niya na handang tumulong sa ating mga kababayan sa oras ng pangangailangan. His involvement shows that kindness knows no boundaries, and we’re grateful for his efforts to uplift the spirits of our fellow Bicolanos,” said Co.
On the other hand, Ji Soo shared that he had a great time helping out. “It feels so good to be able to help others in need, and I hope I was also able to entertain people through my singing. My trip to Bicol was fun and fulfilling, and I can’t wait to go back!”
