G-SHOCK recently marked two milestones: the introduction of its Youth Collection and the grand opening of its High Street location. Some of the country’s most influential media and fashionistas attended the launch and were treated to a high-energy, street art-inspired event.
“We are continuously evolving as a brand in pursuit of greater toughness and design that match the effortless style of consumers today,” shared Ms. Isabella Concepcion, Head of Marketing of CSC-Time, Inc.
The event launched three collections from G-SHOCK and BABY-G that embody individuality, style, and self-expression and highlighted the watches’ stylish design and functionality.
“Casio has developed the new G-Shock and Baby-G lines to cater to the young generation who live active lifestyles and those who do not compromise their style. They do not want to fade in the background: they want to express themselves and in doing so, they make great impressions. In other words, they stand out,” said Mr. Sena Kuroda, Sales Manager for Timepiece of Casio.
The first collection, called Time Distortion, makes an impact as powerful as the G-SHOCK itself.
The band and dial are printed in patterns that playfully distort time and space. The vibrant fluorescent colors on these timepieces can transport you into the world of science fiction.
Choose from the following Time Distortion designs: the iconic digital DW-D5600TD, the DW-5900TD with its triple graph design, and the DW-6900TD with its distinctive front button design.
It’s a time warp right on your wrist.
Both BABY-G and X-Girl are two real street-style brands for girls born at the height of street fashion in 1994. X-Girl offers Real Girl’s clothing inspired by music, culture, sports, and many other street scene elements.
This collaboration with BABY-G reaches back to the vaporwave Internet meme of the early 2010s with the iconic BGD-565XG dressed in polarized neon colors for a vintage virtual feel.
It features a translucent light blue band finished in purple pearl coating that is paired with a polarized watch face in colors that dance and float with each tilt of the wrist.
X-girl is front and center in special design touches. The X-girl logo is printed on the band loop and also appears on the display when you press the light button. The brand’s well-known face logo designed by Mike Mills is also engraved on the case back.
Need a different look? The BGD-565XG comes with an interchangeable black resin bezel and bands to take with you wherever you’re going, so you can even change the look of your watch to match your style.
It’s the X-girl experience right on your wrist.
The Street Spirit line of watches takes the G-SHOCK form as its canvas. If you’re a fan of street art and street culture, then this is the perfect timepiece.
Splashed boldly across the bezel and band, these street-savvy designs deliver original graffiti art that crushes in any fashion scene.
You can pick from the following variants: the iconic case of the DW-5000SS, the metallic bezel of the GM-5600SS and GM-2100SS, and the oversized case of the GA-110SS and GX-56SS.
All have multicolored, cool accents for whatever look you choose. Perfect if you want to stand out while keeping it cool.
Take it to the streets with original graffiti art for your wrist.
