The Prudence Foundation’s Cha-Ching financial literacy program has empowered over two million children worldwide, including one million Filipino students, with essential money management skills. Launched in 2011, the program has empowered children across 16 countries since its launch in 2011. Cha-Ching introduces children to key financial concepts of earning, saving, spending, and Donating through engaging animated videos, interactive games, and activities. The program also features Cha-Ching Money Adventures, an interactive online game that enhances students’ financial literacy through play. The achievement is celebrated as the Philippines observes National Children’s Month.
In the Philippines, Cha-Ching has taught basic money management skills to one million learners through Prudence Foundation and Pru Life UK’s partnership with Junior Achievement Asia Pacific and Junior Achievement of the Philippines and in collaboration with the Department of Education. This milestone highlights the program’s growing impact in the country and its commitment to fostering financial literacy among Filipino youth.
“Teaching children about money from a young age sets them on the path to making informed, confident financial decisions,” said Nicole Ngeow, Executive Director of Prudence Foundation. “This milestone is a testament to our commitment to empowering young learners and helping build a financially resilient future for communities around the world.”
