Expect a new surge of energy in various Ayala Malls very soon as they announce several local and global flagship stores opening in the next months. Christopher Maglanoc, Ayala Malls President shares, “We’re very pleased to be the home of several flagship stores from various retail segments. We are glad to note that confidence in the market continues to be felt despite these unprecedented times. We have already opened some, but there’s definitely a lot to look forward to in the coming months ahead.”

As foot traffic steadily increases in their establishments, Ayala Malls remains steadfast in ensuring they continue to have a stellar lineup of merchant partners that covers unique choices in retail.

Maglanoc continues, “The line-up of shops opening in our malls certainly looks exciting. We are especially thrilled to note that with the latest roster of shops we have in Ayala Malls, including the entry of the different luxury brands who will soon be opening its doors to the public, shows how the Philippine market has evolved. We are also dedicated to supporting our local merchants and SMEs by giving them an avenue to showcase their products. We have several collaborative projects with local communities through various pop-up stores that showcase Filipino talent and design. Meanwhile, as we welcome back our shoppers, we wish to assure the public that safe shopping continues to be a top priority.”

Invigorating Greenbelt

For many years, Ayala Malls has already been the home of iconic flagship stores. Among many of its recently-opened brands is the first Aesop store in the Philippines, which launched last year and is sought after by the discerning and upscale crowd of Greenbelt. Home to many luxury brands, Greenbelt truly is the country’s fashion capital. With Greenbelts 3’s renovation nearing completion, this beloved luxury hub is slated to reveal an even more impressive appearance to house new fashion concepts at the launch of its new Premium Gallery.

Officine Universelle Buly is coming to the Philippines later this 2021. The Parisian perfume and cosmetics brand is opening its first store in the country at Greenbelt 3. In addition to its range of personal and home scents, the brand is also known for its luxurious line of grooming products and accessories.

Another first-to-open in the country is Max Mara, which is considered as Italy’s largest fashion house. The luxury label carries collections varying from casual apparel, bags, shoes, accessories, and bridal wear.

Greenbelt is also readying itself for a bigger Louis Vuitton store. Other powerhouse brands from LVMH Group that are launching this 2021 are Fendi, Dior, Bvlgari, and Celine. Shoppers can expect intricate patterns, embroideries, and signature motifs that only these skilled couture ateliers can achieve.

Fans of Japanese fashion house Kenzo, and luxury streetwear Off White and Univers will also be thrilled to know that they will soon open in Greenbelt. Moving from their spaces in Greenbelt 5 are luxury watch brand Patek Philippe, and iconic suitcase brand Rimowa.

More brands are also set to open by 2022 including Roger Vivier, which is the brain behind the first stiletto heel in 1954. The legendary shoes, bags, and accessories brand chose to locate in Greenbelt for its first boutique in the country.

Other Stores Specialist Inc. labels that are launching in 2022 are Jimmy Choo, Loewe, Chloe, Tod’s, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Salvatore Ferragamo.

With a wide selection of high-quality brands ranging from couture to streetwear, and even travel essentials, Greenbelt is truly the place to be for all things luxury.

Bonifacio High Street on a High!

Bonifacio High Street’s fitness-friendly outdoor spaces have proven to be an attractive location for many sports enthusiasts. For this reason, brands like Nike set up its flagship store in the area. Internationally acclaimed, Nike won several “Store of the Year Awards” against those in Southeast Asia and India.

BHS is the home of the first and only Jordan Store in Southeast Asia, which launched in Bonifacio High Street last December 2020. Aside from it carrying the largest collection of apparel for men, women, and kids, it also has a rooftop basketball court with a unique mural designed by NYC artist, Kimou Meyer.

At 1,000 sqm, Toby’s Sports in BHS also makes a mark as it stands as its largest store in the country. It is also one of the first stores in the Philippines to integrate touch-screen and interactive walls, which customers can use to browse the brand’s website and learn about its latest products.

Manila! Manila! Manila Bay

Manila Bay is the biggest Ayala Malls to date. This shopping oasis has become the venue for flagship experience stores.

The OPPO Experience Store in Manila Bay is the biggest in the Philippines. The store was partly inspired by the aesthetics of the brand’s super flagship stores in China, Singapore, and Thailand. It was also strategically designed to highlight the brand’s own line of Internet of Things products.

The biggest Huawei High-End Experience Store is the go-to for most of the new innovations and products of the brand. Aside from its flagship devices, it also has a dedicated space for specific interests such as photography, music, sports, health, office, gaming, and more.

Glowing Glorietta

The largest Uniqlo global flagship store in Southeast Asia is located in one of Makati’s hotspot, Glorietta, where office workers and city dwellers in the Makati Central Business District converge. With busy foot traffic and a diverse pool of consumers, Glorietta proves to be an accessible location for Uniqlo. The same goes for other exciting sports brands, which are scheduled to open their flagship stores within the year!

Amidst the cosmopolitan urban jungle, Glorietta is also preparing for the opening of Surge Fitness. IATF and LGU permitting, the 1,384-sqm 24/7 gym is targeted to open by August 2021. Gym-enthusiasts can expect a safe fitness haven as safety protocols will strictly be implemented.

Maglanoc recaps, “We are truly hopeful that the industry is slowly on the path to recovery, especially with further easing up of restrictions. We look forward to welcoming back more of our patrons as Ayala Malls continues to provide safe shopping in compliance with the protocols and guidelines by the IATF.”
