Maki has released a new single, “Namumula,” which addresses red flags in love. The track has already accumulated over one million streams on digital platforms and is currently in the fifth spot on YouTube’s ‘Trending for music’ with over half a million views. The music video stars Jannah Chua as Maki’s love interest, and the song has already accumulated over half a million views.

Another color bop following Maki’s hit single “Dilaw,” “Namumula” reflects the struggles of those trapped in their feelings and torn between doing the logical thing and chasing after one’s happiness despite the warnings.

Upon its release, the song topped Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, which also featured the Tarsier Records artist on the cover. The song was also featured on OPM Rising and on the Radar PH playlist where Maki served as the cover as well. 

Meanwhile, the Kapamilya singer-songwriter is set to hold his sold-out first solo concert dubbed “Maki-Concert” at the New Frontier Theater on Nov. 29 and 30.
