Here’s what we think of the RealMe Buds T100 and why they are perfect for music lovers and urbanites who are always on call and on the go.
Design
RealMe’s approach in terms of design especially for these earbuds is very different from what other OEMs are doing. The all-new RealMe Buds T100 can be considered the peak of beauty due to its attractive look and design. The structure of the case is a definite design upgrade of the previously launched Buds Air 3. With its capsule-shaped case, the Buds T100 makes carrying and putting the ‘stemmed’ buds back into the case so convenient and easy. The front side of the case features the name ‘realme’ printed on it which itself is giving a unique look.
For the very first time, RealMe Buds T100 embodies the design concept of ‘two-tone-hit color’ from the RealMe palette, with the charging case and the shell using two contrasting colors. It comes in two colorways like the Punk Black variant which comes with the signature RealMe logo in yellow, while the Pop White variant comes with a light grey color tone on the inside with a dark gray logo on the outside. This design gives different color visuals while the case is open, and when it is closed.
When it comes to the stem of the earbuds, we can see a flat profile on the outside while the inside is more ergonomic and curved. This might be where the touch sensors will be located. The earbuds’ flat design on the outside not only makes them look good but also fits well in the ear canal. The ear tip material has also been well thought out and comes in small, medium, and large sizes. It is ergonomically designed to fit any ear’s contour—providing both comfort during long-term wearability for prolonged listening sessions and a seal that muffles the noises of the outside world.
The Audio Experience
The RealMe Buds T100 is equipped with 10mm dynamic bass drivers and PEEK+TPU titanium-plated dome diaphragms to bring the sound to another level. These different layers are crafted to provide tonal balance at every frequency, leading to a more balanced sound. In terms of latency, there are no delays or lag of sound from the action while watching movies or playing mobile games. The call quality is good and most callers say they can hear the sound from the other end of the phone call to be loud and clear—thanks to the AI ENC Noise Cancellation for calls that is integrated into it to eliminate background noises from your voice, making you audible to the person on the other side of the phone as well.
Battery Life and other features
The RealMe Buds T100 supports fast charging which allows 120 minutes of typical usage for users in just 10 minutes of charging. It also comes with a battery indicator which makes it convenient for users to understand the battery power. The Buds T100, in general, can last 6 hours of listening time and with the charging case, can give 28 hours of playback, enough to allow you to conduct video conferences and enjoy music with confidence. Other features include Google Fast Pair, Bluetooth 5.3, and Super-low 88ms latency for gaming. Two more color variants—Jazz Blue and Rock Red—will soon be released at a later date.
Pricing
RealMe Buds T100 is priced at P1299. All in all, the RealMe Buds T100 is a very good option for anyone looking for a sleek-designed true wireless stereo earphone on a budget. It is priced a little higher than some of the others, but it does bring a little more to the table. There’s more to the RealMe Buds T100 than just being wireless with a low price tag—and that makes it a bit of a shark in a sea of TWS mediocrity.
