Fast-rising smartphone company Infinix is venturing into the laptop market with its first-ever laptop, the lightweight but workload-ready INBook X1.
Weighing under three pounds 16.3 mm thickness, the 14-inch laptop is equipped with Intel Core i3/ i5 processor which clocks at up to 3.6 GHz, and has a memory of 8 GB. These features make Infinix INBook X1 extremely portable yet built for heavy activities like data processing and programming.
On top of its impressive specs, the laptop has a unique cooling system that employs military-grade air ducts to instantly bring down temperatures when the machine is crunching demanding tasks. The debut laptop is pre-loaded with Windows 10.
“Leveraging our deep understanding of consumers in the smartphone space, we are thrilled to enter a new era with Intel and Microsoft by launching our first laptop series. This not only marks a significant milestone for the brand but also signifies our commitment to our global customers,” said Cooper Ma, Infinix country manager for the Philippines.
INBook X1 comes in a stylish aircraft-grade full-metal body, with a large 14-inch screen with a Full HD IPS display that can be tilted up to 180° viewing angle for optimum flexibility. The laptop’s 55 watt-hour battery guarantees 11 hours of screen time for web browsing, video playbacks and other tasks. It comes with a small charger that replenishes battery life by up to 70 percent in just one hour, making it a handy companion for on-the-go users.
Infinix’s first laptop also comes with a 720P webcam, two arrays of digital microphones for smooth video and audio communications, and stereos with patented DTS technology for an immersive audio-visual experience. It fits snugly into the new normal needs of today’s digital jobs and relationships. It also has the built-in InSync screen projection application which enables users to synchronize work files seamlessly between their laptops, TVs, and smartphones.
