Honda Philippines, the top motorcycle manufacturer and distributor in the Philippines, has relaunched its Honda Room program. In the program, under the Honda You banner, Honda partners with reputable Technical Schools to offer Motorcycle/Small Engine Servicing vocational courses to underprivileged youth in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The program provides quality education, skilled mechanics, job opportunities, and technical manpower for Honda dealerships. It ensures high quality, safety, and customer satisfaction levels, benefiting approximately 25 learners per term.
Nueva Ecija, 18th March 2025. The series of Honda Room relaunch events kicked off in Luzon, Don Bosco Training Center – San Jose, Inc. A vocational training center for the poorest youth aged 17-24, primarily children of farmers in the province who cannot pursue higher education.
Ilo-ilo, 26th March 2025. The second Honda Room relaunch activity was in the Visayas, Don Bosco Boy’s Home and Vocational Training Center located in Dumangas. The center provides a safe home and quality education to youth at risk.
Davao Oriental, 28th March 2025. The final Honda Room relaunch event was in Mindanao, Don Bosco Training Center – Mati, Inc. in Mati City. The center aims to equip students with practical skills that match the local industry, improving their employment prospects.
Honda provided the partner technical schools with motorcycles equipped with the latest Honda technology, and a full set of tools and equipment, and facilitated the transfer of know-how and service techniques through a train-the-trainer program.
